Tweetdeck does it again!
There are several Twitter Management systems out there – Hootsuite, Seesmic and Tweetdeck – which is my preferred system and today’s update confirmed my belief in them as the leader in their field.
Today’s release of Version 0.32 has seen them add some fabulous features to help you manage ALL your networks.
- Linked In integration – add your Linked In account and keep updated of groups, status updates, Q & A’s and more!
- ReTweet addon – Choose to Retweet as Twitter now allows you to – OR the previous method available on Tweetdeck which means you can still EDIT the tweet. I personally like this choice as the option to add your own comment can increase the value of a Retweet .
- Twitter List support – You can manage your lists directly in Tweetdeck, add other users to your lists and follow or unfollow other lists as well.
If you haven’t tried Tweetdeck lately as your Twitter Management System I recommend you do. They have really changed since their first release. One of the best features is the ability to post directly to your fanpage wall. The ability to keep up and in contact with those whose tweets you don’t want to miss is the mainstay of Tweetdeck, everything else is just icing on the cake.
I used to use Tweetdeck and then moved over to Seesmic because at the time it had the features I desired. One being the ability to have as many searches (columns) as I wanted whereas Tweetdeck limited me to 10. Is there still a limit with Tweetdeck cause limited to me are like rules and I was never one to follow the routine rules you know?
I like the idea that you can manage your Linkedin groups and post directly to your fanpage wall. Not sure if Seesmic does that or has it on their list to implement as that would be a valuable addition to my twitter management system.

There is no limit now to columns on Tweetdeck and they have really evolved since you would have last used their system. In fact you can save your columns and close them – opening them only when needed.
Seesmic states you can link to the fanpage wall – not sure how many. That for me is the beauty of tweetdeck – there seems to be no limit to the number of accounts I can hook up and when you manage other people’s twitter profiles it is very useful and saves much time.
You really should check it out – their downloads are much smoother now as well.
